The Space Coast Basket Brigade is fun family event where volunteers come together to package, decorate & personally deliver Thanksgiving baskets to families in need in our community.
Our Space Coast Basket Brigade is a fun, family event where volunteers come together to package, decorate, and personally deliver Thanksgiving baskets to families in need in our community.
What started with one family surprise delivering 4-holiday baskets to unsuspecting families has now grown into one of the largest contribution projects in the Space Coast. With over 2000 volunteers (more than 50% of children) joining us in delivering 4783 Thanksgiving Baskets!
This year we have more families in need than ever before and are asking for you, our amazing Space Coast members to join us in ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal.
Everyone is welcome to join us as we package, decorate, and then YOU personally deliver the Thanksgiving basket to the families in need in our community.Donate Time
All items are needed for a traditional Thanksgiving meal. Simply sign up for the items that you would like to donate and bring with you to the Brigade or can drop off at the Holiday Inn Viera.Donate Food

A great way to give back and have some fun. You can join us in coordinating a food drive with your children, neighborhood, team, club, organization, or company.
We are happy to provide you with the food drive flyer, neighborhood door hangers, and even email or social media templates to make this as easy as possible for you. You collect the food, send us your food counts, and drop the items before the Brigade and it’s a win-win for everyone.
The health and safety of our volunteers and Space Coast community is our top priority, here's what's new this year:
We will be hosting the Brigade on both Saturday, November 20 & Sunday, November 21.
To encourage a faster experience and smaller gathering we will be offering time slots where volunteers can come to package your bags and then make your deliveries.
We are asking our volunteers to please do your best to maintain social distancing and contactless delivery when making your deliveries. (We know that some of the families love to hug, so please use your best judgment and be safe).
Face coverings (shields or masks) will be required for our leadership team and anyone entering the main ballroom area. For any volunteers who would like to participate in the main bag packing, we will be doing a temperature check and questionnaire asking to confirm that you are symptom-free.
Our Space Coast Basket Brigade is happy to support families in need by providing them with a Thanksgiving meal.Nominate
